Good to know
Seven Sisters is a 3,800 sq ft fully renovated luxury cabin in the Preserves near Wears Valley, named for the Pleiades constellation (a sailor’s term for the seven stars) and for Jimmy Buffett’s “Desdemona’s Building a Rocket Ship” from the 1996 album Banana Wind. The six king suites are named after the primary stars in the constellation. The house sleeps a maximum of 14 and includes two queen sleeper sofas (one in the living room and one on the bottom floor). The cabin has three levels, with two king suites on the wings of each floor flanking a central common area. This layout gives every bedroom privacy and the group room to breathe. You enter on the mid-level, which holds the living room, kitchen, and dining room. The suites here are Maia and Merope, one off each side of the living room. Each has its own ensuite bathroom with a large garden tub. Downstairs are the two largest suites, Alcyone and Electra, each with its own garden tub. The center holds the kids’ game room (ping pong, foosball, multicade, and a 75” Roku TV), the half bath named Asterope, and the laundry room. The top floor has the suites Celaeno and Taygeta, which share a common bath with a shower (no garden tub). Between them is the adults’ game room with a custom Beech 8-foot pool table, a 6-person poker table, Golden Tee, and a 65” TV. The house is stocked with starter supplies of coffee and paper products (toilet paper and paper towels). Note: if lights are flickering, the dimmer switch is set somewhere in the middle—there are only two options, fully bright or fully dimmed.
Other Details to Note
Parking & Connectivity Parking is available for up to 6 vehicles easily possibly more if smaller cars. The fiber-optic WiFi network is accessed via the WiFi porters mounted on each floor—simply tap with your phone or scan the QR code to connect. Entertainment There are 9 Roku TVs throughout the house: • 75” TVs in the living room and kids’ game room downstairs • 65” TVs in the upper game room and the four lower bedrooms • 50” TVs in the sitting areas of the two upper bedrooms (each with bean bag chairs) Every TV has an HDMI cable connected to the HDMI1 port so you can easily hook up a gaming console. Smart Home & Phone An Alexa is available on every floor. There is also a landline phone with a handset on each floor (the number is on the back of the phone). Calls within the US are free; international calls are not permitted. The Preserves Amenities The Preserves features a chapel for weddings. There is also a pavilion up top with a large wood-burning fireplace available to all guests (you must supply your own wood). It has plenty of chairs and tables plus a spectacular view.

Neighborhood
Location & Access Positioned just above Wears Valley in the Smoky Mountains. During winter, an AWD or 4WD vehicle may be required. Snow removal times can vary, so plan accordingly if visiting in winter. For quick access to hardware stores, groceries, and restaurants, head to the bottom of the hill and turn right toward Townsend (about 15 minutes). It offers a quieter, easier drive with fewer crowds. Pigeon Forge is about 20 minutes the other direction and has significantly more dining and activity options, though with heavier traffic and more visitors.
